We have the three judges for the Kona Coffee Quilt Show

Diana Foster
Moved to Hawaii 11 years ago and has been a member of Ka Hui Kapa Opana O Waimea for 8 years.  She is mostly self taught.  She teaches Hawaiian quilting but her focus is on doing commissions of Hawaiian and art quilts.  Her quilts have been exhibited at the Merrie Monarch Quilt Show, the Waimea Quilt Show, Pan Pacific Quilt Show and the Quilt & Sewing Fest in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

 

Hiroki Morinoue
Hiroki Morinoue is a native of Holualoa, Hawai'i and holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the California College of Arts and Crafts. Morinoue has worked successfully in a variety of media including mixed media painting, prints, ceramics and sculpture. He has shown widely in the United States and Japan.

Kona is a district on the west coast of the island of Hawaii. Due to the suitable climate and the volcanic soil, the best coffee in the world is grown here. Only coffee from this district can be called Kona coffee.
